Peach wool is a soft, brushed winter cloth with a wool-like hand. In Pakistan it is used for frocks and warm daywear. It is often a blend, not a heavy wool suiting. Searches are small next to khaddar and peak in January. Hamayl Designer Hub does not sell peach wool.
Peach wool vs falalen vs khaddar
| Cloth | Hand | At Hamayl |
|---|---|---|
| Peach wool | Brushed, wool-like, for frocks and daywear | Not in stock |
| Falalen / flannel | Brushed cotton, for night shirts | 45 inch, unstitched per gaz |
| Printed khaddar | Denser cotton, for day suits | Unstitched per gaz |
Peach wool is not falalen. Falalen is the brushed cloth we sell, and it is meant for sleep and the coldest weeks. Peach wool is the day-frock idea. January is when that search is highest.
Other names we do not stock yet: velvet, marina, dhanak, karandi, cambric, viscose.
What to buy instead
Falalen is the brushed cloth in stock. A day suit that has to be warm is printed khaddar. Both are unstitched per gaz with cash on delivery. Night-shirt lengths are on the gaz chart.
