Marina is a smooth winter suiting, and yes, it is for winter. In Pakistan it is usually a blend, not a cotton khaddar: it hangs flat, creases less, and breathes less. Searches run at about 0.8 times khaddar and peak in December. Hamayl Designer Hub does not sell marina.

Marina is not lawn and it is not a summer wash-and-wear. People ask for “marina fabric for winter” because the cold months, especially December, are when the suit is cut.
