Which cloth to press on
Press on a flat piece of Hamayl cloth, before or after stitching, as long as the spot lies flat.
- Funky lawn — summer frocks
- Mid-season cotton — 43-inch arz, the Paint Splash and Orange Check cloth from this week’s Facebook posts
- Winter cotton — 45-inch day shirts
- Printed khaddar — winter suits
- Flannel / falalen — night shirts
Cotton takes the bond cleanly. On khaddar and flannel, press a little longer and always finish from the inside. Avoid seams, buttons, and folds under the patch.

How to apply it
- Wash and dry the garment first if it is new, so later shrinkage does not crack the print. The patch itself stays in its sheet until you press.
- Set a dry iron to cotton. No steam.
- Lay the garment flat. Place the patch where you want it, glue side down. The product photo shows which side faces you.
- Cover with a thin cotton cloth or baking paper if the sheet asks for it.
- Press hard for 15–20 seconds. Do not slide the iron.
- Let it cool completely. Peel the clear sheet only when the patch is cool. If it lifts, press again.
- Turn the garment inside out and press another 10–15 seconds on the back of the same spot.
Wait 24 hours before the first wash. Wash inside out, cold or lukewarm, and skip a hot tumble dry on the patch. These are wash-durable heat transfers, not a one-wear sticker, if the press was dry and the cool-down was real.
